Oven Fillers, Trim, & Side Extensions
Installation Type:

Oven Fillers
Oven Fillers are designed to close gaps above or below a wall oven when the existing cabinet opening is taller than the new replacement unit. These fillers provide a clean, finished look while eliminating the need for costly cabinet modifications or refacing.
Oven Trim Kits
Oven Trim Kits are designed for installations where the cabinet opening is wider or taller than the new wall oven and a full surround is needed. These kits create a clean, built-in appearance and eliminate the cost and labor of replacing or refacing existing cabinetry to fit the new appliance.

Side Extensions
Side Extensions are custom panels designed to cover an oversized cabinet width or align an appliance’s width with another unit above or below it. Commonly used with Built-in Coffee Makers, Microwave Drawers, Wall Ovens, and Speed or Steam Ovens, they provide a clean, integrated appearance for any built-in installation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are oven kits easy to install?
Most homeowners don’t install oven trim kits themselves because the oven’s weight and installation requirements can make it difficult. However, oven fillers are simple to install — the oven is typically already in place before the filler is added, so there’s no heavy lifting involved.
Are trim kits heat-resistant?
Yes. All Micro-Trim trim kits, filler and vent panels, are heat-resistant and safe for appliance use.
How thick are oven filler materials?
Aluminum fillers are 7/16″ thick. Stainless fillers range from 7/8″ to 1½″+ thick depending on profile.
How do I measure for a filler or trim kit?
Use our online, or printable, measuring worksheets in the Measure Worksheet Directory. Your project worksheet guides you through what to measure.
What is the difference between an oven trim kit and an oven filler?
A trim kit surrounds the appliance on all sides to cover perimeter gaps, while a filler panel is used above or below an oven to fill a vertical height gap.
What finishes are available for Cooktop, Oven, or Range Fillers and Trim Kits?
For Cooktop, Oven and Range Fillers and Trim Kits
- Brushed Aluminum (“Stainless Finish”)
