With the holidays around the corner, decorating your kitchen can be an underrated, yet fun activity to get you into the holiday spirit! Whether it’s your first time decorating your kitchen or you need some help getting in to the swing of things, here are some tips and ideas:
- Color and themes: pick out the color schemes you will stick to. You can choose to follow classic holiday colors or go your own route with a new approach that is perhaps more modern!
- Creative centerpieces: throw together some of your favorite holiday elements and create a beautiful centerpiece for the table or island.
- Festive tablescapes: to add your counters and tables, choose a festive table runner or table mats and use napkins and rags to compliment them.
- Natural elements like fruits of the season, pinecones, branches, greenery, garlands, etc., can bring in a nice ambiance that makes sense for the kitchen!
- Dishware: don't forget to bring out your festive plates, decor, and dishes; you can display them along the kitchen, replacing your standard kitchen accessories.
